So-Called Fibromyalgia Cures

The medical community tends to agree that there is no cure for fibromyalgia (FM). Those who advertise various “natural” treatments and methods will often claim that they have the magic cure for your pain, insomnia, and mental issues, but do any of them really work? FM sufferers buy these treatments hoping that they have finally found the magical answer to solving their health problems, only to find out that they've spent more of their hard-earned money foolishly.  They know that some FM sufferers are able to get past their symptoms and lead healthy, happy lives, but they're still grasping at straws to try and do the same.

What types of so-called fibromyalgia cures are we talking about when we discuss these numerous fakes? Stick to the old rule of thumb that if something sounds too good to be true, it most likely is. There are a lot clues you can look for to determine if you really want to spend your money on any given cure. For example, one website proclaims, “Finally Banish Debilitating Fibromyalgia Pain & Fatigue... Using Only Simple, All-Natural & Safe Grocery Store Items You'll Have in Your Kitchen Right Now...”  Do you really believe that it could be this easy to get rid of such a devastating condition? If it was, there would no longer be thousands of people suffering all around the world.

This ad goes on to tell you that you can get the secrets you're looking for by downloading and reading an ebook that has a value of $180; however, you can get it if you act quickly for only $37.77.  Chances are good that if you spent money on this ebook, you wouldn't receive any information that you don't already know from what your doctor has told you. You know you need to get plenty of sleep, stretch your muscles, eat a healthy diet, and take any medication prescribed by your doctor, and there's no way that eating tuna from a can on your kitchen shelves, or anything else in your kitchen, is going to improve your condition.

People believe these outlandish ads, because they want to believe them. They are tired of being in pain and suffering, and they're looking for the miracle cure that will magically take all the symptoms away. Another similar website by a person with these degrees – M.Ac., L.Ac., LMP – offers another ebook for only $20 which will tell you how this medical practitioner cured her own fibromyalgia. Besides the ebook, the site is quick to point out that you'll get free worksheets and a free newsletter. Whoopee! Since it isn't like a bookstore where you can go and browse before buying, you have no clue what kind of information you're going to get if you plunk down cash for this ebook. It's like paying for a grab bag.

Maybe someday there will actually be a miracle cure for fibromyalgia, but until that time, you'll keep your stress levels down by taking no chances on fly-by-night cures and concentrate on doing everything you can do to make yourself feel as good as possible.
